Who is this program for?

The Diploma of Accounting course is designed for those beginning a career in accounting, employees responsible for financial reporting, practising bookkeepers and anyone managing a business who wants to learn the fundamentals of accounting and undertake accredited accounting training. The diploma includes the competencies for registration as tax agent.

What is Accounting?

Accounting within a company is varied in its roles from Payroll to Strategic planning and risk analysis. Most companies hire accountants to take on diverse roles and are necessary for the daily running of a company. Accounting training will give you an edge to get into accounting jobs across Australia and is a step towards becoming a tax agent.

How will I be assessed?

To gain the Diploma of Accounting you will have to pass a number of practical and workplace (or simulated workplace) assessments. The assessments for this course are based on both formal and informal processes as required by the government.
