Who is this program for?
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is for individuals who are required to design and deliver training and assess participants. The program designed for participants to be able to deliver training within the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Participants of the training and assessment course will be taught the skills and knowledge needed to deliver competency-based training in any industry.
What is Training & Assessment?
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) course gives you the skills to become a trainer, facilitator or assessor within an organization, a Registered Training Organisation or TAFE. The Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification is the requirement to be able to assess to the Australian National Standards.

How will I be assessed?
To gain the qualification in Training and Assessment you will have to pass a number of practical and workplace (or simulated workplace) assessments. The assessments for this course are based on both formal and informal processes as required by the government.
This program is made up of seven core and three elective units of competency:
