Who is this program for?

This program is for those with some prior knowledge or experience within the financial services industry. Participants will learn basic accounting skills and how to use computer based accounting systems. The program is particularly relevant for employees who perform office tax duties such as completing the Business Activity Statement (BAS).

What is Accounting?

Accounting within a company is varied in its roles from Payroll to Strategic planning and risk analysis. Most companies hire accountants to take on diverse roles and are necessary for the daily running of a company. Accounting training will give you an edge to get into accounting jobs across Australia and is a step towards becoming a BAS agent.

How will I be assessed?

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures relevant to bookkeeping activities
